Hire Hero, a non-profit organization providing free job-placement services to vets with service-related disabilities:
The was created to connect veterans and active duty military men and women to their peers instead of a generic hotline.
Launched in 2011, connects Veterans, their family members and friends, and other advocates with mental health information, local resources, and inspiring stories of recovery. Visitors can find reliable information on how to cope with challenges such as posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, and transitioning from service. The site is free and accessible to everyone.

This five minute video created by is a quick and entertaining introduction to completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Submit a FAFSA to apply for grants, loans and work-study from the federal government as well as state and school-based financial aid.
